Watchers

The End of Avatar

Thu Sep 4, 2008, 12:24 PM
Some of things that I was looking forward to this year was christmas, my birthday, haloween (I love candy), and the series finale of Avatar. I had been losing my mind not seeing what would happen and wondering how it would all end. And after watching the series finale, I was sad, but at the same fulfilled.

It told a story that I was hay with and ended it in a way that left me feeling content. I never understood the shipping wars that went on and what the point of them was. But I still am a hadcore fan and supported the show in everyway I could. The way the story was told was something that I feeling is a dying art in cartoons. Especially in most anime. Sometimes the story being told gets drug out so long that at times your just screaming at the television saying "get on with it already!"

Mike and Bryan created something special. A story that tok us on a journey of 4 kids that spanded the course of nearly a year. We watch them make mistakes, fall in love, get put into danger constantly, and watched them grow.

And I must say that I enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks Mike and Bryan, you have raised the bar for animation.:)
